What we believe

As a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), we confess the Triune God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. In our preaching and teaching, we trust the Gospel as the power of God for the salvation of all who believe. Our Lutheran teaching and theology guides the way that we proclaim this faith and live it out. We don’t claim to have an answer for all questions, not even all religious questions. But we are here to learn and grow in Faith together. Our worship and study prepares us to follow Jesus in our everyday lives, and to be witnesses to the way that God shows abundant mercy for all in Jesus Christ.

Every week in worship, you will hear God’s clear word of forgiveness, reflect on God's word from the Scriptures, pray as Jesus taught, and come to the Lord's Table expecting to receive the gifts of grace that God promises. As we go out to live our lives, we continue to live by faith, serving others freely and generously as we follow Jesus.

Throughout the week, we continue to live by faith, serving others freely and generously in all that we do because we trust in God's promise in the Gospel. Our calling is to love our neighbor in the same gracious way that God loves each of us. And we want to share this good news of Jesus, so that others can believe in him and have confidence in his saving love. This life giving work continues every day.
